| My awareness of the dream begins in the middle somewhere. I am with A, an old friend. For some reason she is dressed only in black underwear. She leans forward and gives me a long kiss. Then I become aware that I am with four women, all dressed in black underwear, all writers (Ann is a poet, and one of the other women is M, a fiction writer). We are sitting together on a sofa and matching chairs, talking. There is a strong erotic tension in the room, but nothing else happens. |
