If you are a dentist, then your work life has simply seeped into your subconscious one. If you are not a dentist, they are usually symbolic of fear or anxiety, possibly even personal feelings of vanity if you are a patient. If you are the actual person doing dentistry, then you are applying these emotions onto somebody you care about without even knowing it.
