I don't know what you did but if you dreamed of finger or toe nails, somebody you know doesn't wish you the best of luck. If you where having a manicure or pedicure, your subconscious is asking you to moderate the image you show in front of the public, are you possibly going into an extreme physically?
If your dream involved the “home renovation” type nails then you are currently suffering from an illness which will be cured shortly but if instead of hammering the nails, you simply saw them lying on the ground, this is considered a bad omen of things to come.
